List of questions people frequently ask about Traindom.
How much does Traindom cost?
Traindom is free until you have at least 10 customers with full access (either they paid for your product or you created free full-access user accounts) to your product. The first 10 does not include users who signed up, but did not finalize their payment.
By not charging you a dime before you have 10 customers, we make signing up with Traindom risk-free and you can take your sweet time setting up your information product. If you don’t make money, we don’t make money.
After your 10th sale your monthly payment depends on your monthly sales volume, starting from $24/month (see all packages here).
How do I get paid?
Your customers pay you directly when they buy your product. When you sign up with Traindom, you configure your payment methods (such as PayPal) and when someone buys your product, they pay you directly. Traindom does not take any commission. In fact, Traindom does not touch the money you make at all – it goes straight from your customer to you.
Who is responsible for marketing my information product created with Traindom?
You are.
Traindom is a platform for hosting your information product. It is not a marketing service. We provide the tools to create, manage and sell your information product, but the marketing effort is solely up to you. You are the entrepreneur and this is your business. Our mission is to help you create products faster and with more ease, take the technical hassle out of the picture.
Do I still need a website to promote my information product?
Traindom does not replace your website. It’s a tool for managing your information product. We strongly recommend maintaining a website on the side to promote yourself, your product, keep a blog and so on. You market yourself on your website and direct interested parties to your Traindom product public page to sign up for your product.
Will Traindom be available in my language?
Our goal is to make Traindom available in every language where there is interest towards Traindom. We are doing the translation ourselves bit by bit and we start with bigger languages. If you want to see Traindom user interface in your language soon, help us translate it.
Send an e-mail to info@traindom.com and use “I want to translate Traindom to my language” as the subject line. We’ll send you a file with user interface texts in English, you write corresponding translations to it, send it to us for verification and we’ll add your language. Voila!
Can I use my own domain for my Traindom site?
As this point you can only use a sub-domain for your Traindom site (something.traindom.com). We recommend maintaining a full website on the side (with whatever domain name you like) and market your product through your website. Traindom is for hosting, creating and managing your information product.
You can link from your website to the login page of your Traindom site (for existing customers) and the sign-up page (for people interested in buying your product).
Can I have more than one product on Traindom?
Yes, absolutely. At the moment you would need a separate account for each one of your products. You can make as many accounts as you like. As each of your products is a profit center, there is also a separate monthly fee per account/product.
